The Dating Bootcamp is designed for: Anyone ready to level up their dating skills with the intention of building a long-term committed relationship.
The Dating Bootcamp is NOT for: Anyone looking for more one-night stands, pickup artist hacks or casual situationships.
Throughout one weekend, Amy and the Renew Teachers will share this universal system that will work for every one of us, regardless of where we are from, how we look, how much money we have, or how powerful we are.
All-inclusive, co-ed retreat, we’ll learn:
- The science behind creating chemistry
- How to choose better partners and fix your chemistry compass
- Tools to boost confidence and enhance your personal magnetism
- The psychology of power dynamics and how to stay balanced and empowered in relationships
- How to decode emotional signals and send the right signals to others
In our supportive setting, you’ll actively apply your newfound skills through simulated dating scenarios AND, we’ll each have a session with a professional photographer so we can optimize our dating profiles with feedback from Amy and the team.

That’s right. Before you leave, we’re going to learn how to implement The Dating Experiment. The Dating Experiment is Amy’s most effective strategy for getting you into a healthy, joyful longterm relationship. It works, more often than it doesn’t but it will require you to go outside of your comfort zone. Are you ready?

The last retreat was held in a Spanish-Mediterranean villa sitting high on a hillside in Topanga Canyon, the celebrated bohemian citadel of love, art, and eccentricity.
The space is surrounded by five acres of lush gardens and a plethora of meandering pathways and private niches. There is a big pool, fountains everywhere, butterflies, and birdsong. It is further encircled by the largest urban park in America, the stunning Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area. Ambiance, history, beauty, and nature are prime amenities at this bucolic retreat.

Amy is the Founder of Renew. A relationship columnist for over a decade, she is also the Editor-in-Chief of Heart Hackers Club – an online magazine that focuses on the psychology behind love and desire. She’s the author of the New York Times featured book, Breakup Bootcamp – The Science to Rewiring Your Heart, published by Harper Collins.

Colette Pervette, PH.D
Dominatrix
Colette is an educatrix. She is a professional dominatrix, where she has been practicing the art of intimacy and power exchange for over 13 years. She holds a PhD in education from UC Berkeley, where her research focuses on conceptual change. Colette will guide a session on moving past shame and unlocking vulnerability.

Dr. Cat Meyer, PSY.D
Couples Therapist
Dr. Cat Meyer, PsyD, LMFT is a licensed couples therapist, sex therapist, and published researcher dedicated to evolving the relationship we have surrounding sexuality and our bodies. In her sessions, Dr. Cat will empower you to ignite your own chemistry, teaching you to foster attraction from within rather than depending on others to kindle that spark. You’ll discover how to build and sustain chemistry in a manner that’s healthy and enduring, ensuring it stands the test of time.

NICOLE BOYAR
Love Coach
Nicole is a love life coach who helps women identify and shift old patterns, move from love addicted to love connected, and have fun with healthy dating. Nicole will guide you through interactive exercises designed to awaken your inner sense of play and wonder. Her sessions are designed to shift from overthinking to experiencing the present moment in your body. You’ll acquire skills on how to be more magnetic and attract positive attention effortlessly.

OWEN MARCUS
Men’s Coach
Owen Marcus has developed programs for over four decades that weave mindfulness, somatic psychotherapy, and emotional physiology, showcased in the documentary About Men and his book Grow Up. As a co-founder of MELD, he leads trainings for men, couples, and organizations such as Google that enhance bodily awareness, teach how to use our physiology, and promote presence while improving emotional and relational well-being.

Sadia bruce
Therapeutic Movement Specialist
Sadia, E-RYT 500, YACEP, is a therapeutic movement specialist and yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience. Her yoga training is complemented by certifications in functional fitness, somatics, contemplative studies and trauma-informed teaching.

Matisse Williams is a transformational guide for visionaries, leaders, and creatives, focusing on unlocking their potential to foster personal and collective growthMatisse holds a Masters of Transpersonal Psychology, with a specialization in Eco-Spirituality and Creative Expression and Transformation. She designs experiences aimed at helping people increase their vitality, find their voice, and clarify their vision.
Am I too old / too young to come?
Absolutely not. Amy’s system works equally well for those just starting their journey and those with tons of experience. We’ve had a range of men and women of different ages and backgrounds attend.
Will I be healed after one weekend?
Anything that promises to be a quick fix to transformation or enlightenment is a lie. Nobody can heal you. Only you can heal yourself. Renew’s team of facilitators are the best of the best in their areas of expertise and will help guide you through a process of growth. We provide tools rooted in science and psychology. However, once you have the knowledge, you are responsible for practicing what you learn to turn your knowledge into wisdom. Our intention is to provide you with a variety of tools so you can create your own toolkit to use when you’re back in daily life.
Do I need to attend all three days of the Bootcamp?
In order to attend the Dating Bootcamp, you must be able to commit to attending all sessions starting Friday and ending Sunday. Each session builds upon the next. We do not record sessions and it’s important to experience the program in its entirety for maximum impact, and to be accountable to the group.
What is the schedule?
You can check in as early as 1PM on Friday. Programming will begin at 2PM PT and go until the evening. Saturday breakfast is available starting at 8AM and we beging programming at 9AM PT. We will have a group lunch and dinner. On Sunday, we have the same start time, and then group lunch. Departure is at 3PM PT on Sunday.
Is there support after the retreat?
There is a Whatsapp group for all participants of this cohort. The Whatsapp groups typically stay active well after the retreat as you end up creating a community of new friends. There will also be a follow up group Zoom session a month after.
I go to therapy already, should I bother coming to Renew?
Renew is not therapy. We have experts who will teach you tools and frameworks to help you develop emotional and relationship skills.
Does my sexual orientation matter?
We welcome men and women of any sexual orientation.
Can I send a friend?
Many people have gifted the Renew retreat to a friend or family member.
Are there private sessions?
No, all sessions are done as a group.
What is the application process?
We sell out each retreat as we keep the group small and intimate. If you have never completed a prior Renew program you’ll first fill out an application and have an intake call.
Is there a refund policy?
There is a no refund policy. That means under any circumstances, there is no refunds. If this doesn’t work for you, please do not book the retreat.
